Communardo is on an exciting growth journey across Europe and is looking for an Accounting Manager (m/f/d) to take responsibility for its Swedish accounting operations. This role combines hands-on accounting responsibilities with the opportunity to further develop processes and ways of working in a business that continues to grow. This role can be based at any of our locations in Sweden, with a preference for Karlstad.

About the role  

Your responsibilities will include, amongst other things:  

  • Day-to-day accounting and financial statements  

  • VAT and payroll declarations  

  • Cash flow monitoring and banking matters  

  • Intra-group invoicing and accounting  

  • Reporting to the group  

  • Coordination of the payroll process  

  • Development of procedures, processes and working methods  

Your Profile 

  • Strong accounting expertise, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements  

  • Experience working in a group environment or a solid understanding of consolidated accounts and intercompany transactions  

  • Ability to take ownership of the full accounting cycle and work independently  

  • High level of accountability and a proactive, hands-on approach  

  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement  

  • Curiosity and a willingness to challenge and develop existing processes  

  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills  

  • Ability to communicate complex financial matters in a clear and understandable way  

  • Down-to-earth personality with a collaborative and team-oriented attitude  

  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken  

  • Ability to build effective relationships with local and international stakeholders
