As Head of Developer Experience Solutions (m/w/d), you combine modern leadership with strategic product development. You empower engineering teams, drive the future development of the DevEx domain, and ensure our solutions are market-ready, customer-centric, and built for sustainable success.
Regular travel to our Zurich office (1–2 times per month) is part of this role.

Your Tasks
- Leadership and Team Development: You lead and develop high-performing DevEx engineering teams, support them in their day-to-day work, and foster a modern, people-centered leadership culture. You create the conditions for efficient, agile collaboration and continuously improve processes and ways of working.
- Strategic Development of the DevEx Domain: You are responsible for the long-term direction of the DevEx area, defining a clear vision and translating it into actionable initiatives. You strengthen our market positioning and further develop a cohesive, competitive product portfolio (e.g., DevSensei).
- Market and Customer Focus: You identify new market opportunities, analyze trends and customer needs, and derive strategic focus areas and priorities that directly impact product development and business growth.
- Stakeholder Management and Alignment: You collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Business stakeholders, align different perspectives, and ensure that all teams work towards shared goals in a coordinated and effective way.
- Strategic Advisory and Representation: As a trusted sparring partner to the leadership team and the central voice for DevEx, you provide direction, support strategic decision-making, and represent the domain both internally and externally.
Your Profile
Experience
Several years of leadership experience in software or product-driven environments
Proven track record in scaling teams, driving change, and delivering business impact
Experience shaping domain strategies, portfolios, and product directions
Background in developer tools, productivity solutions, or platforms (e.g. Atlassian, GitHub, JetBrains) is a plus
Skills & Knowledge
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Solid understanding of modern software development (DevOps, CI/CD, code quality)
Experience working in agile environments and structuring complex topics
Data-driven mindset with focus on outcomes and impact
Technical & Languages
Good understanding of developer tools, workflows, and version control (e.g. Git)
Fluent in English
